ARTS AND DESIGN
- 1982-95
- Designed and constructed furniture on commission in Colinton, Alberta, Canada.
- 1978-82
- Owner and operator of SPECIAL EDITIONS: A Gallery of Fine
Woodworking and Design in Victoria, B.C. Designed and
constructed original furniture and cabinetry for residential
and commercial clients. Displayed and marketed the work of
fine furniture designers of western Canada.
- 1980-82
- Taught courses in Introductory and Advanced Cabinetmaking
and Furniture Design for Camosun College in Victoria, B.C.
- 1977-78
- Owner and operator of a furniture design and cabinetmaking
business in Sausalito, California.
- 1975-77
- Designed and constructed furniture at Sheridan College
School of Crafts and Design, including several large
production commissions.
- 1975
- Worked for Art Worlds, a non-profit creative arts center,
in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Studied in the areas of ceramics
and Life drawing. Pottery exhibited to the public,
Spring, 1975.
- Produced a motion picture which was synchronized with a
choral presentation in the Ann Arbor Public Schools.
- Oxyacetylene welding course, Washtenaw Community College,
Ann Arbor, Michigan.
- 1974
- Designed and constructed the set for Regards to Broadway,
a musical comedy review produced as a benefit for a
memorial scholarship at the University of Michigan
Department of Speech and Theatre.
- 1972
- Worked on the construction of the set for Falstaff, an
opera produced by the University of Michigan School of Music.
- Produced a motion picture of the rehearsals of Funny Girl
at the University of Michigan, which was used as a
promotion for ticket sales.
- Designed and constructed furniture: Desk, chair and table,
couch/bed which were shown at the Ann Arbor Free Fair,
summer, 1972.
- 1969
- Produced and directed Dissection and Reconstruction,
a 16mm color and sound film which was entered in the Ann
Arbor Film Festival and the National Student Film Festival.
