(UMUC) - My institution, of course. UMUC is a national leader in distance
education. There are over 30,000 students in our Maryland and national
programs. The Open learning program delivers over 100 distance education
courses to more than 7000 part-time adult students. UMUC has over 80,000
students world-wide.
- Athabasca University, Alberta Canada
- Definitely worth a visit. Athabasca is Canada's "open" university
and is almost entirely a distance university. It has a complete undergraduate
program and also offers an online Masters of Distance Education and an
online MBA.

philosophy, and includes extracts from the six Pathways distance
